Proactima Solutions, a Norwegian professional services firm, needed to modernize its UXRisk risk-management application after the original Azure Cloud Services-based backend struggled with latency, large data objects, and multitenant scaling. Working with Microsoft Corporation and using Azure Service Fabric, the company set out to build a more flexible microservices architecture for easier tenant configuration and better performance.

Microsoft Corporation helped Proactima Solutions implement tenant-specific services, request-response communication, asynchronous processing with Azure Service Bus, and secure configuration and identity handling with Azure Key Vault and Azure Active Directory. The result was a fast, scalable, and easier-to-deploy platform with improved uptime and performance; Proactima reported load times dropping from as much as 30 seconds and said the Service Fabric design could scale to millions of users.
