Eneco Group, a Netherlands-based sustainable energy company, needed to modernize its outdated on-premises data estate and infrastructure so it could scale more efficiently and support future innovation. Working with Microsoft Corporation and SAP partner Conclusion, Eneco chose Microsoft Azure to move its SAP environment to the cloud.

Microsoft Corporation helped Eneco complete the first phase of migration in just seven weeks, moving 17.5 terabytes of data and 23 on-premises servers with no downtime or business disruption. The new SAP on Azure platform improved scalability and reliability, reduced tasks that once took days or weeks to minutes, eliminated prior performance issues, and set Eneco up for faster financial reporting and real-time insights.
