Popular Israeli insurance brand secures important back office update with IaaS

IDI Insurance Company, a major Israeli insurance provider, faced the challenge of needing to upgrade its aging on-premises SAP system to meet regulatory compliance and gain access to modern features. The company needed to do this without a significant budget investment in new hardware. Microsoft provided a solution by implementing its Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) to host the company’s core SAP production environment.

By moving to Microsoft Azure IaaS, IDI successfully modernized its SAP system without needing to invest in or manage its own hardware. The solution, delivered with critical support from Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS), resulted in cost savings, boosted IT productivity, and met all compliance requirements. The Microsoft solution also provided enhanced security and built-in business continuity, allowing IDI's IT team to focus its resources on the core insurance business.
