PeoPay State-of-the-art mobile payments with Windows 10 Mobile

Bank Pekao, a leading bank in Poland, sought to provide its customers with a modern, convenient, and widely available mobile payment solution. The challenge was to develop a state-of-the-art application that was fast, easy to use, and supported contactless payments, with a specific goal of making it available on the Windows 10 Mobile operating system to reach a large audience.

Microsoft Corporation worked closely with Bank Pekao to develop the PeoPay application for Windows 10 Mobile. The solution involved direct cooperation and knowledge sharing, allowing the bank to launch the app immediately after the OS release. The application featured secure contactless payments using HCE technology and could be used globally. This collaboration resulted in an innovative product that was perfectly adjusted to the OS, ensuring excellent security and a positive user experience that expanded the app's user base.
