OTP eBiz, a new digital financial service from Hungary's OTP Bank, sought to create an innovative mobile assistant for SMEs to simplify administration by integrating online banking, account management, and billing into a single platform. Their challenge was developing this solution while needing to connect it securely to their legacy bank infrastructure and meet strict security requirements. Microsoft Corporation was selected as the technology partner for this project.
The solution was built on Microsoft Azure, providing a flexible, cloud-based backend that was essential for the service's functionality and future global expansion. Microsoft's engineers were deeply involved from the planning stages, helping OTP eBiz successfully turn their ideas into reality quickly. The result is the eBIZ service, which enables SMEs to focus on their core business by significantly reducing time-consuming administrative tasks.
