Orbi Yokohama, the SEGA Holdings entertainment museum in Yokohama, Japan, needed to keep its website highly available during seasonal traffic spikes while reducing the cost and maintenance of a seven-server setup. Working with Microsoft Corporation and its partner Prime Strategy, the team also wanted a more flexible CMS so staff could update ticketing, hours, and event information more easily.

Microsoft Corporation helped Orbi Yokohama migrate to Microsoft Azure using KUSANAGI for Microsoft Azure on Azure Virtual Machines, with WordPress from Azure Marketplace as the CMS. The new setup improved website performance, security, and uptime, while cutting the server environment from seven servers to three and significantly lowering operating costs.
