Omaha Public Schools turn to Office 365 Education to streamline professional development

Omaha Public Schools, the largest school district in Nebraska, sought a way to streamline professional development for its teachers without adding to their demanding schedules. They partnered with Microsoft to leverage the collaborative features of Office 365, specifically Office 365 Groups, to create a more effective platform for their Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).

The Microsoft solution provided a familiar and integrated platform that centralized collaboration. Using Office 365 Groups, teachers could easily archive and share lesson strategies and best practices, ensuring new staff had immediate access to the team's collective knowledge and eliminating the need to start from scratch. This resulted in more cohesive, efficient teams and directly supported the district's goal of improving student learning through enhanced teacher collaboration.
