Case Study: INAIL achieves safer collaboration and GDPR compliance with Microsoft 365 from Microsoft Corporation

A Microsoft Corporation Case Study

Preview of the INAIL Case Study

Nonprofit helps keep Italy’s workers—and their personal data—safer after adopting Microsoft 365

INAIL, Italy’s National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work, needed to protect highly sensitive health and personal data while enabling thousands of employees to work securely from anywhere. The nonprofit turned to Microsoft Corporation’s Microsoft 365 Enterprise E5 and related services, including Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection and Surface devices, to build a more secure and collaborative environment.

Microsoft Corporation implemented Microsoft 365 tools such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Information Protection, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and threat protection capabilities to strengthen security, support GDPR compliance, and improve document sharing and collaboration. The results included 11,000 Microsoft 365 E5 seats deployed, response to incidents 30% to 40% faster, and an estimated 30% increase in employee productivity, while helping INAIL better safeguard workers’ data and deliver services more effectively.
