Nintex, a global workflow automation provider, wanted to extend its Microsoft Azure–based Nintex Workflow Platform beyond automation by giving customers better visibility into how their processes perform. To do that, Nintex turned to Microsoft Corporation and Microsoft Power BI Embedded to create Nintex Hawkeye, a cloud analytics offering that would let business and IT users understand workflow efficiency, product usage, and return on investment.

Microsoft Corporation helped Nintex embed interactive, self-service dashboards and “Lenses” into Nintex Hawkeye so users could explore process data without building reports themselves. The solution gave customers real-time operational insight, improved transparency, and faster identification of process issues; for example, Hawke’s Bay Regional Council used it to replace paper-based order handling, track stock and delivery performance, and spend less time on manual data entry, enabling smarter decisions and continuous improvement.
