Nestlé serves up anywhere access for a global team

Nestle, the global food and beverage company, needed a secure way to support collaboration and file access for more than 300,000 employees across 70+ countries, while reducing the cost and complexity of its on-premises infrastructure. To address these challenges, Nestle chose Microsoft Corporation’s Microsoft 365 stack, including Microsoft OneDrive, Office 365, and Microsoft Teams, as part of its cloud migration.

Microsoft Corporation helped Nestle move user files to OneDrive and roll out cloud-based collaboration tools with regional pilots, user training, and change-management support. The result was faster access to files, better version control and co-authoring, improved security and compliance, and simpler IT operations; Nestle also eliminated more than 130 servers hosting home directories and reduced capex and operating costs.
