Microsoft Azure chosen to support the growth of KPMG in France

KPMG France, a major audit and advisory firm, faced a challenge supporting the growth of its new in-house accounting web solution, Arpège Web Suite, which was initially hosted on its private cloud. The customer needed greater flexibility, scalability, and agility to support its goal of expanding from 5,000 to 50,000 users. To overcome these constraints, they worked with vendor Microsoft Corporation to migrate the platform to the Microsoft Azure cloud.

The solution implemented by Microsoft involved migrating the application to Microsoft Azure, leveraging its PaaS services for automation, scalability, and open-source technology support. The migration was completed in four months with assistance from Microsoft Consulting Services. The results included eliminating technological constraints on growth, creating new market opportunities, and enabling faster implementation of services. The vendor Microsoft Corporation provided the platform that allowed KPMG's subsidiary to subsequently open the application to the broader small business market.
