A Microsoft Corporation Case Study
CAME (Centro de Apoyo al Microempresario), a Mexican financial institution, sought to increase its 4,500 employees' access to and usage of cloud-based collaborative and productivity tools. Their challenge was low adoption of their existing Microsoft Office 365 platform and limited remote access, which was a significant hurdle for a workforce that primarily operates in the field rather than in a central office.
Microsoft’s solution involved updating CAME's Office 365 platform and expanding licenses to all employees. The implementation of cloud-based services like email, OneDrive, Yammer, and Skype led to a 70% increase in direct cloud-based email usage, enabling real-time collaboration and more efficient task management. Microsoft’s platform also provided crucial compatibility with existing Excel reporting tools and allowed CAME's IT department to manage all 4,500 licenses with their existing staff.
