Mental health agency engages patients and closes the clinical loop with cloud-enabled apps

The Mississippi Department of Mental Health (DMH), a state government agency, sought to improve communication with patients and integrate data across its 12 distinct programs. Their challenge was to find a flexible technology that would allow patients and caregivers to interact more effectively while providing a stable platform to connect various healthcare applications.

Working with Microsoft, the DMH implemented the CARETILES application from CoCENTRIX, built on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Azure cloud platforms. This solution enables patients to communicate complex needs through a graphic interface, enhancing therapy and daily living. The results include more meaningful patient engagement, improved caregiver assessments, and the ability to actively monitor patient progress against care plans. Microsoft’s technology provided the foundational infrastructure that allows the agency to integrate systems and make a significant difference in patients' lives.
