Case Study: Stylelabs achieves greater flexibility and less downtime with Microsoft Corporation Azure Functions

A Microsoft Corporation Case Study

Preview of the Stylelabs Case Study

Marketing software company gives customers greater flexibility using serverless functions

Stylelabs, a Belgium/US-based marketing software company, needed a faster, more flexible way for enterprise customers to customize its Marketing Content Hub platform and add integrations without lengthy coding cycles or downtime. Running on Microsoft Corporation’s Azure cloud, Stylelabs wanted to reduce the effort required to support customer-specific business logic while improving autonomy for users.

Microsoft Corporation’s Azure Functions serverless service was implemented to handle custom business rules and integrations outside the core application. This let Stylelabs speed up deployments, eliminate downtime from recompiling and redeploying code, and enable customers to self-configure their own workflows. The solution also scaled from a few runs to 100,000 executions per day and reduced maintenance costs, while Azure-based services like Cognitive Services and Video Indexer further improved content tagging and search.
