Litgrid, the Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator, faced the challenge of managing a large portfolio of complex, long-term projects more effectively and using resources more precisely. To address this, they worked with vendor Microsoft Corporation to implement a newer solution, migrating from an outdated system to Microsoft Project Server 2013.

The Microsoft solution, closely integrated with UMT360, provided real-time project visibility, centralized documentation via SharePoint, and improved resource monitoring. This allowed Litgrid's management to make better-informed decisions, promptly identify and resolve issues, and ultimately improve the company's performance in delivering projects on time and within budget.
