Let's Do It! Foundation, a nonprofit organization and global civic movement, aimed to combat worldwide waste and 'trash blindness' by organizing a massive clean-up event across 150 countries. Their challenge was uniting and coordinating millions of volunteers and managing crowd-sourced waste data on a global scale. To achieve this, they partnered with Microsoft Corporation, utilizing technology solutions including Azure, Office 365, and Skype for Business.

Microsoft provided the technological platform necessary for the foundation to map global waste, coordinate international teams, and create a centralized World Waste Platform. The solution enabled the movement to operate effectively in 128 countries, engaging 20 million people to clean up illegal waste. This effort was a significant step towards their goal of mobilizing 5% of the world's population to create lasting environmental change.
