CEMEX, the global building materials company based in Mexico, wanted to improve collaboration and speed digital transformation across its 40,000-plus employees. After years of relying on email, the company needed a secure, repeatable way to drive adoption of Office 365 and help users embrace new ways of working. Microsoft Corporation, through FastTrack for Office 365, provided the support CEMEX needed for its migration and change-management effort.

Microsoft Corporation implemented FastTrack consulting and deployment guidance to help CEMEX roll out Office 365 and related tools such as Teams, SharePoint Online, Yammer, Power BI, and Outlook with minimal disruption. The result was stronger collaboration, better process visibility, and faster adoption: 3,000 employees used Yammer within three months, growing to 7,000 after one year, while 8,600 used Skype for Business and 9,100 used Outlook mobile. CEMEX also reported more transparent migration, end-to-end visibility in projects like CEMEX Go, and reduced confusion through a single source of truth.
