Microsoft Corporation implemented a cloud-based security setup using Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, Azure Information Protection, and Cloud App Security. The results included a 96% reduction in trial-and-error sign-in attacks, more than an 85% cut in shadow IT use, and the mitigation of 50,000 daily brute-force attempts; it also stopped a 100 GB data export and enabled new-user onboarding in under 24 hours.
