A Microsoft Corporation Case Study
Kyowa Hakko Kirin, a Japan-based pharma company, needed a more agile global ICT platform to improve communication, simplify authentication, and strengthen security across regions. After issues with its earlier cloud email setup, the company turned to Microsoft Corporation and Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Teams and Azure Active Directory.
Microsoft Corporation implemented Microsoft 365 as a global collaboration and identity platform, supported by FastTrack for Office 365. Kyowa Hakko Kirin unified licenses, reduced TCO, and rolled out the solution worldwide, managing about 10,000 licenses. The move improved real-time communication through Teams, enabled global authentication with Azure AD, and enhanced security with conditional access and password hash syncing.
