Kotak Mahindra Bank, a medium-sized bank in India, required a more agile and mobile human resource management (HRM) solution to meet the evolving demands of its workforce. Their HR technology provider, ZingHR, faced the challenge of overhauling its applications to provide greater flexibility and security without compromising performance. Microsoft Azure provided ZingHR with a scalable, secure, and economical cloud foundation, which was crucial for handling Kotak's stringent security and data residency requirements. This partnership enabled ZingHR to successfully mobile-enable over 70% of its applications, automate HR processes, and offer a cost-effective pay-as-you-go model. The results included substantial cost reduction, improved security, and the ability to seamlessly host Kotak's data locally following the launch of the Azure India data center.
