Keith & Koep, a German manufacturer of embedded computer systems, needed a flexible, secure platform to help Gastromatix automate cocktail service for events without relying on skilled bartenders. Using Microsoft Corporation technology, specifically the Myon I CPU module with Windows 10 IoT Core and Azure IoT solution accelerators, they aimed to power a touchscreen cocktail mixer with cloud connectivity, reporting, and remote management.

Microsoft Corporation helped enable a fully automated Cocktail-Booster that mixes up to 40 ingredients and produces a drink in under six seconds with consistent quality. The solution also records each drink for billing and tracking, reduces waste and labor costs, and supports inventory monitoring and predictive analytics. The system was successfully deployed at festivals and other events in Germany, with plans for broader use in restaurants, hotels, and airports.
