Appleseeds Academy is an Israel-based nonprofit that provides programming and computer science training to underserved communities, helping bridge the digital divide and improve employment opportunities. Its legacy in-house infrastructure was costly, outdated, and difficult to keep synchronized, which slowed growth and made it harder to run large-scale programs effectively.

With Microsoft Corporation and Microsoft Azure, Appleseeds Academy moved its technology systems to the cloud and later developed a Digital Classroom mobile app to track attendance, feedback, and learning progress. Microsoft Corporation helped the nonprofit deliver 250,000 training hours across 350 locations, maintain a 70 percent job placement rate within six months of course completion, and position itself for major future growth.
