For its IQ Power solution, the company wanted end-to-end encryption, resilience against interruptions, and open-source-compatible technologies to help monitor power plants and turbines from a central point while reducing downtime and improving revenue.

With Microsoft Corporation’s Azure IoT Edge, Azure IoT Hub, and Azure HDInsight, IQB Solutions built a platform that processes about 500 million data points per day at the edge and sends roughly 23–25 million meaningful data points daily to the cloud for analytics and machine learning.
