dm-drogerie markt, the German drugstore retailer with more than 3,500 stores, needed to modernize internal communication and make collaboration easier across locations. Working with Microsoft Corporation, the company introduced Office 365 F1 alongside smartphones so employees could access tools like Yammer, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online from anywhere.
Microsoft Corporation implemented the rollout through dmTECH with pilot groups, training, videos, workshops, and FAQs to drive adoption and explain the change. The result was simpler, faster, and more mobile communication between headquarters and stores, saving time and making information available on all devices; dm also planned to expand Office 365 access to all employees by spring 2019.
