Info Edge, the parent company of Naukri and other online brands, needed a reliable and affordable disaster recovery site for its mission-critical internal applications hosted in its Noida data center. With a heterogeneous environment including Dynamics NAV, Exchange, Linux-based apps, and custom systems, the company turned to Microsoft Corporation and Azure Site Recovery to eliminate single points of failure and meet its target RPO/RTO requirements.

Microsoft Corporation implemented Azure Site Recovery in Azure as a cloud-based DRaaS solution, with Comparex supporting deployment across two phases: Hyper-V to Azure and VMware/physical to Azure. The result was 100% coverage of Info Edge’s critical internal applications, quarterly DR testing without production impact, and about 70% cost savings versus an on-premises secondary DR site.
