Hyperconverged data analytics startup lands deal with world’s largest coffee retailer

Incorta, a hyperconverged end-to-end analytics startup, needed a faster way to combine and analyze massive volumes of retail data without building a costly data warehouse. A global coffee retailer with about 24,000 stores faced the challenge of identifying which products were most profitable across many variables, including sourcing, shipping, timing, and region.

Microsoft Corporation supported the solution through Microsoft Azure and FastTrack for Azure, helping Incorta deploy quickly and scale resources when needed. Incorta ran a proof of concept that showed real-time data consolidation and analytics, leading the coffee retailer to close a deal in about a month. The Microsoft Corporation relationship and Azure support also helped build customer confidence and accelerate future sales opportunities.
