Amadeus, a leading global hospitality technology provider, faced a challenge in moving its customers to its new cloud-based Salesforce application. A major obstacle was migrating their extensive catalog of complex, paginated operational reports, which were built on Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and were critical for their clients' daily operations. They needed to integrate this rich reporting seamlessly into the Salesforce experience to encourage cloud adoption.

Partnering with Microsoft and Terawe, Amadeus implemented a centralized information delivery platform using Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and the Salesforce Canvas SDK. This solution embedded their existing SSRS reports directly into the cloud application, providing single sign-on and pixel-perfect reporting. The result was the removal of a key obstacle to cloud migration for 2,000 customers. Microsoft's technology also established a foundation for Amadeus to offer future advanced analytics, paving the way for new upselling opportunities with predictive capabilities.
