Hershey enhances global brands and productivity with cloud technology

Hershey, the global snacks company, needed a more connected, collaborative workplace and better ways to respond to changing consumer demands. Microsoft Corporation helped Hershey move key collaboration and productivity functions to the cloud and built “The Conche” intranet on SharePoint Online, with BrightStarr’s Unily platform layered on top of Office 365. The solution improved employee access to information, streamlined workflows, and enabled real-time analytics for production lines. Measurable results included reducing internal audit time by 1,250 hours per year and saving 70 hours a week for Hershey and Barry Callebaut collaboration, while also lowering maintenance and infrastructure costs.
