Healthcare provider pioneers new patient care options and strengthens cross-organizational collaboration with Microsoft Teams

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, a technology-forward NHS provider in the United Kingdom, needed a better way to improve patient care options while strengthening communication and collaboration across teams and other NHS organizations. As part of its move to Microsoft Office 365, the trust turned to Microsoft Corporation products including Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online, with support from partner Cloud 2.

Microsoft Corporation helped Berkshire Healthcare deploy Teams and SharePoint Online to create a more secure, easy-to-access collaboration hub for staff, clinicians, and external partners. The results were strong: Teams use doubled from 1,100 Skype for Business users, video consultations saved time and travel costs, and 18 meeting rooms were converted to Teams Rooms. Microsoft Corporation’s solution also improved document sharing, reduced versioning issues, expanded training access, and enabled faster, more flexible patient support across the NHS.
