The customer, DXC Technology (then known as CSC), a global IT services provider, required a modern cloud-based productivity and collaboration platform. Their challenge was to migrate 55,000 employees from Lotus Notes to a new solution, aiming to increase agility, reduce infrastructure costs, and develop new service offerings for their own clients looking to move to the cloud. They partnered with vendor Microsoft Corporation and selected its Microsoft Office 365 suite.

Using the Microsoft FastTrack onboarding service and the Microsoft Azure environment, the vendor implemented a rapid and efficient migration, moving all 55,000 mailboxes to Exchange Online in just five weeks. This solution provided DXC Technology with a competitive advantage, cutting their annual voice conferencing costs in half by using Skype for Business and equipping them with the experience to help their clients with similar cloud transitions.
