A Microsoft Corporation Case Study

Preview of the Bristow Group Case Study

Global industrial aviation company uses the cloud to reduce costs during oil and gas downturn

Bristow Group, a global industrial aviation company, faced pressure from the oil and gas downturn and needed to cut costs while improving IT services. To accelerate its cloud strategy, Bristow worked with Microsoft Corporation and Infosys to migrate its on-premises applications to Microsoft Azure, using Azure Site Recovery and related Azure services.

Microsoft Corporation helped Bristow move more than 140 Windows and Linux servers to Azure Virtual Machines, provision network and storage resources, and set up cloud-based disaster recovery. The result was a secure, scalable, and cost-effective environment that improved reliability, reduced costs, minimized migration disruption, and strengthened Bristow’s ability to scale and respond to market changes.
