Georgia’s national technology innovation agency boosts efficiency with cloud services

Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), Georgia’s national technology incubator and startup support body, needed a more reliable and secure communications environment. Its existing on-premises system was prone to spam, limited productivity, and made it difficult for teams to collaborate effectively across locations.

With help from Microsoft Corporation and its partner Syntax, GITA moved to Office 365 Enterprise E1, E3, and F1, adding tools like Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams along with cloud telephony. The result was stronger security, fewer spam and virus issues, lower IT and international calling costs, improved call quality, and noticeably higher efficiency and remote collaboration.
