Finnish company creates application to capture up-to-date customer data without typing

Blucup, a Finnish IT company, sought a solution for its salespeople to efficiently capture and input up-to-date customer data and generate leads while in the field without the hassle of typing on mobile devices. To overcome this challenge, they turned to vendor Microsoft Corporation and its Microsoft Cognitive Services products.

Using the Computer Vision API and Bing Speech API from Microsoft Cognitive Services, Blucup developed the Zero Keyboard application. This solution allowed sales reps to input data using touch gestures, voice, and pictures, which resulted in the capture of highly accurate and quality information for their CRM systems. Microsoft's technology enabled rapid development and provided Blucup with the powerful, developer-friendly components necessary to create an innovative product that meets customer needs.
