Case Study: Fashionplus achieves greater stability, efficiency, and agility with Microsoft Azure from Microsoft Corporation

A Microsoft Corporation Case Study

Preview of the Fashionplus Case Study

Fashionplus raised stability, efficiency and agility against fast-paced fashion industry with Microsoft Azure

Fashionplus, one of Korea’s early online fashion retailers, needed greater stability, security, and agility to keep up with the fast-changing fashion and e-commerce market. Its on-premise and hosted systems were hard to manage, costly, and difficult to update, especially without an internal DBA. Microsoft Corporation helped Fashionplus address these challenges with Microsoft Azure.

Microsoft Corporation migrated Fashionplus’s online shopping environment, including its database, customer management, and website, to Microsoft Azure using BYOL for Windows Server. The move reduced system operation costs, improved data management stability, strengthened security and failover, and gave developers more time to focus on new services. Fashionplus also achieved a more flexible cloud-based e-commerce platform that could adopt new technology quickly.
