Exclaimer, the world’s largest provider of email signature management solutions, needed to adapt as more customers moved from on-premises systems to the cloud. Working with Microsoft Corporation and Azure, Exclaimer set out to build a dedicated cloud version of its award-winning software for Office 365 that would keep email processing secure while meeting growing scalability and data residency demands.

Microsoft Corporation’s Azure platform enabled Exclaimer to create a relay-based service that adds signatures without email leaving the Microsoft cloud, while also supporting automatic scaling and global deployment across 14 Azure datacenters. The results were immediate: the service grew to process around 17 million emails per day, reached more than one million users, and helped drive Exclaimer’s fastest period of expansion as it transformed into a cloud-first provider.
