The solution was implemented using Microsoft Azure Site Recovery (ASR). This allowed eMazzanti to offer a cost-effective Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) by using Microsoft Azure as a cloud-based recovery site, eliminating the need for a physical secondary location. For Microsoft, this resulted in eMazzanti's Azure business growing by a factor of seven, and it became a significant part of their 20% annual growth. The solution also drastically reduced setup times for disaster recovery protection from weeks to just days.
