Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation - Customer Case Study

The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF), a global nonprofit fighting pediatric HIV/AIDS, needed a faster, more effective way to collect, analyze, and report program data across more than 6,000 health facilities in 14 countries. Before working with Microsoft Corporation, EGPAF relied on Excel and manual reporting, which made it difficult to meet donor requirements, support country teams, and turn data into timely decisions.

Microsoft Corporation implemented SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Power BI, Datazen, and SQL Server 2016 capabilities to standardize reporting and enable self-service analytics. As a result, about 350 staff began using shared reports, and EGPAF made data more accessible to all 1,400 employees through dashboards and mobile/offline reporting. The tools reduced duplicate analysis, improved data quality, and helped democratize data use across the organization, strengthening EGPAF’s ability to make evidence-based decisions and save more children’s lives.
