Electronics Retailer Enhances Partnerships, Drives Traffic with Cloud Technology

RadioShack, a major electronics retailer, needed to overcome significant challenges in providing real-time product inventory data to its partners and customers and in managing its costly, manual coupon processes. To address this, the retailer partnered with Microsoft and worked with Microsoft Partner Pariveda Solutions to implement a new solution using Microsoft Azure cloud services.

By building its inventory and coupon management systems on Microsoft Azure, RadioShack automated its processes and integrated its legacy on-premises infrastructure with the cloud. This solution from Microsoft enabled the generation of up to 1 million coupon codes in just 20 minutes and provided partners with real-time data without complex VPN connections. As a result, RadioShack significantly reduced IT involvement, built more productive partner relationships, enhanced customer satisfaction, and increased revenue.
