Dutch youth care organization enhances client services and reduces costs with cloud-based solution

Parlan, a youth services organization in the Netherlands, faced a challenge when the government decentralized youth care and reduced its budget by up to 20%. They needed a more efficient and cost-effective way to deliver services to their 4,000 clients. To meet this challenge, Parlan partnered with vendor Microsoft Corporation and IT firm Winvision to develop a new solution.

The solution built on the Microsoft cloud platform utilized Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online and Microsoft Office 365 to create a mobile, cloud-based tool called WinCare. This allowed caregivers to enter client data in real-time on tablets, eliminating manual paperwork and reducing trips to the office. The results were significant time savings, a simplified management process, and an increased capacity to help more youths without adding staff, all while enhancing client engagement and empowerment through a dedicated online portal.
