Dow Speeds Access to Apps and Data to Solve Real-World Problems

The Dow Chemical Company, a global chemical manufacturer, faced the challenge of enabling its 53,000 employees and external partners to securely access corporate data and applications from any location to drive innovation and collaboration. To overcome this, Dow partnered with Microsoft Corporation and implemented the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS) alongside Microsoft Azure and other cloud services to streamline identity management and data access.

Microsoft provided a cloud-based solution that centralized identity management, allowing for single-sign-on access to both on-premises and cloud applications. This implementation by Microsoft dramatically reduced the time required to configure new SaaS applications from up to 80 hours to just a few hours. The results included enhanced security, real-time collaboration for teams in the field, and a significantly improved ability to bring solutions to market faster.
