Digital advertising company gets answers from terabytes of data with Microsoft Azure platform

MediaBrix, a mobile-first digital advertising company in the United States, needed a better way to make sense of more than 25 terabytes of data spread across multiple cloud servers and storage accounts. As it scaled, the company struggled to turn that data into timely mobile-ad targeting insights, especially in a market where traditional web-based tracking methods didn’t exist. Microsoft Corporation helped MediaBrix address this challenge using the Microsoft Azure platform, along with tools such as Azure Event Hubs, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.

Microsoft Corporation implemented a cloud-based data platform that enabled MediaBrix to process data in real time, centralize first- and third-party data, and use Azure Machine Learning for predictive models and dynamic ad targeting. The results were dramatic: queries that once took nearly 15 hours were reduced to about 15 seconds, and MediaBrix reported conversion rates roughly three times standard click-through benchmarks. With Microsoft Corporation’s Azure solution, MediaBrix gained faster insights, improved customer targeting, and stronger competitive advantage.
