A Microsoft Corporation Case Study

Preview of the Detroit Wallpaper Case Study

Detroit startup artfully applies all-in-one solution that promotes secure collaboration, helps it redefine home décor

Detroit Wallpaper, a small custom wallpaper startup in Ferndale, Michigan, was growing quickly but struggling with a piecemeal IT setup that included different email apps, mixed devices, and hard-to-manage client files. The company needed a better way to support secure collaboration, access information on the go, and reduce the time founders spent on administration, so it turned to Microsoft Corporation’s Microsoft 365 Business and Office 365 tools.

Microsoft Corporation, working with Red Level Networks, helped Detroit Wallpaper standardize on Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and other Microsoft 365 apps to centralize communication, file sharing, and presentations. The result was faster teamwork, improved security, and better productivity, with the company reporting it reclaimed at least 10–15% of its budget by preventing waste through timely collaboration.
