Corona Corporation, a large manufacturing company in Japan, needed to strengthen server security while expanding its mobile work environment for sales staff. Using Microsoft Corporation’s Windows Server 2016 Datacenter, along with Shielded Virtual Machines and Windows Server Containers, the company aimed to support remote access, improve sales productivity, and protect sensitive business and product information.

Microsoft Corporation and TK Net Service implemented the solution by leveraging built-in Windows Server 2016 security features instead of adding third-party tools. The result was stronger server-side protection without additional investment, improved manageability of thin clients, and the ability to scale the mobile work environment from 150 to a planned 300 devices. Microsoft Corporation’s platform also improved development testing efficiency by eliminating wait times with containers.
