CONA Services supports Coca-Cola bottlers’ growth with massive SAP HANA migration to Azure

CONA Services, the IT services provider supporting Coke One North America’s bottling partners, needed a better cloud foundation for its SAP HANA-based platform. Its challenge was to move a very large, complex environment off outsourced datacenters while improving cost, speed, and scalability. To do that, CONA Services chose Microsoft Corporation’s Azure along with Azure ExpressRoute, Azure Site Recovery, and Azure Virtual Machines.

Microsoft Corporation worked with CONA Services, Capgemini, and SAP to complete the largest SAP HANA migration of its kind to Azure. The move finished in just seven months, and the CONA platform now runs fully on Azure, supporting about 160,000 orders a day and $21 billion in annual net sales value. The new platform delivers better cost efficiency and performance, while creating a base for future analytics and machine learning growth.
