FUJIFILM Software Co., Ltd. needed to modernize its IMAGE WORKS image file management and sharing service because the legacy on-premises platform was slowing development, increasing latency, and making it hard to deliver new features quickly. With Microsoft Corporation’s Azure PaaS approach, FUJIFILM Software rebuilt IMAGE WORKS in just six months, cut development time for new functions by 75 percent, and improved end-user response times by at least 10x. Latency dropped significantly too, including a key search-related workflow that went from 45 seconds to 2 seconds, helping FUJIFILM Software boost reliability, release features faster, and increase customer satisfaction.
