Case Study: Citrix achieves streamlined single sign-on access with Microsoft Azure Service Fabric

A Microsoft Corporation Case Study

Preview of the Citrix Case Study

Citrix Cloud streamlines with single sign-on access based on Azure Service Fabric

Citrix, a Microsoft partner with global cloud offerings, needed to replace multiple disparate authentication systems across products like Citrix Cloud, ShareFile, and Podio with a unified single sign-on experience. Using Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Active Directory and Azure Service Fabric, Citrix set out to build a more scalable, cost-effective identity platform that could support its large enterprise customer base and faster release cycles.

Microsoft Corporation helped Citrix implement the Citrix Identity Platform on Azure Service Fabric using a microservices architecture. The result was a streamlined single sign-on solution that could run about 100 services on only 10 nodes, improve density and load balancing, support CI/CD and self-healing, and meet Citrix Cloud’s 99.95% uptime SLA with recovery times under 5 minutes.
