Case Study: Omnimundo personalizes learning and boosts student engagement with Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365

Children from all over the world find common ground through technology

Omnimundo, a kindergarten and primary school in Antwerp, Belgium, faced the challenge of personalizing education for a highly diverse student body of children from over 20 countries, who had varying learning levels and styles. To address this, the school turned to Microsoft and its suite of products, including Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365, to move beyond the limitations of their previous technology and create a more integrated, effective learning environment.

By implementing Microsoft Surface Pro devices running Windows 10 and subscribing to Office 365, the school empowered students and teachers with tools like OneNote for organizing lessons and collaborating on global projects. The solution resulted in a tripling of student learning time due to increased efficiency, with one student learning Dutch in half the usual time. Microsoft's technology also dramatically increased student engagement, provided crucial tools for different learning styles through digital inking, and prepared children with modern workplace skills.
