Chevron Corporation, a global energy provider, needed to scale a cloud migration effort across 40 scrum teams and 450 people while keeping cross-functional work aligned and manageable. To support its Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) approach, the company needed a simpler, more scalable replacement for its existing issue-tracking tool, and turned to Microsoft Corporation’s Azure DevOps, including Azure Boards.

Microsoft Corporation helped Chevron Corporation recreate its SAFe implementation in Azure DevOps in just two weeks, using Azure Boards, Azure Repos, and Azure Pipelines to unify work management, source control, and CI/CD automation. The results included USD 500,000 in licensing savings, code delivery in seven minutes, infrastructure deployment in as little as 30 minutes, and a platform now supporting around 3,000 active users and 400 live projects.
