California school switches mobile devices to help students reach their full potential

Bellarmine College Preparatory wanted technology that would help students reach their full academic potential, but its original one-to-one tablet program fell short because students and teachers lacked the flexibility and productivity they needed. The school turned to Microsoft Corporation, using Surface Pro 4 devices and OneNote 2016 to support both classroom and at-home learning.

Microsoft Corporation replaced the tablets with Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book devices, giving users keyboard input, pen input, and better note-taking and lesson-building tools. The result was a more flexible learning experience, improved organization of class information, and easier feedback for teachers; Bellarmine said the Microsoft tools helped advance teaching and learning across the school.
