Bombay College of Pharmacy Secures its Molecules on the Cloud with Microsoft 365

Bombay College of Pharmacy needed to modernize its legacy IT environment, improve collaboration, and protect sensitive academic and research data while moving beyond scattered email accounts and local backups. Microsoft Corporation, through Microsoft 365 and support from partner Techgyan, helped the institute address these challenges across communication, identity, productivity, and security.

Microsoft Corporation implemented a phased solution that moved email to Exchange Online, created a single identity with hybrid Active Directory, and upgraded staff and students to Windows 10 and Office 2016 with OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Windows Defender, and Microsoft Intune. The results included a 50% reduction in IT support calls, 75% less data loss, 20% fewer email support calls, and a 25% increase in productivity, while the college also began deploying campus automation on Azure.
